Weekly Message from Principal - May 2, 2025
Dear Parents / Guardians,
It has been an exceptional week, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated cast and crew for their tremendous commitment to the musical production of Shrek over the past six months. Their hard work was evident in the outstanding performances. We also deeply appreciate the unwavering support of our families in facilitating student participation through transportation to and from rehearsals. Finally, we thank our staff and their families for their invaluable contributions to the development and on-going commitment to this wonderful musical. Research highlights the comprehensive benefits, including academic advantages of engaging in the arts. The increase in our students' confidence has been wonderful to see.
Our Spring Arts Concert is our next big event. It will be held on May 22nd, at 7pm.
Please join us to celebrate the musical and artistic talents of our GMS students.
Congratulations to the girls and boys badminton teams who represented GMS with determination and pride. All teams gave their best and demonstrated great teamsmanship and respect to their opponents and referees.
For our Grade 8 families, as we know you want to plan ahead, we want to let you know that this year's Leaving Ceremony will be held on June 25th, 2025 in the morning. More details will follow from the Leaving Ceremony team as we get closer to the date.
