Weekly Message from Principal - May 30, 2025
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This Friday is a Board-wide Professional Activity Day and schools will be closed to students.
Our EQAO assessments have now been completed. Students did a wonderful job of completing these. Special thanks to all of them for their focus during these assessments as well as you the parents for ensuring they had enough sleep for these provincial tests. Special thanks to Mr. Kelly for coordinating these assessments and Mrs. Wiggins and Madame Ross for all their work in preparing for their classes for this K-6 assessment.
We are fortunate to have a library full of resources. We need your help. We are currently missing a very large quantity of books totalling $1,677. If your child has GMS library books at home, please help us save the next steps of having our volunteers call home by sending the books back to school with your children.
We held our final School Council meeting for this year and I want to thank all of our parents on School Council as well as parent volunteers for their significant support through the year.
Thank you
Hanif Jamal, Principal, Goulbourn Middle School
